At Buzz&Go, we’re all about creating travel stories worth sharing – so we thought it was about time we did some travelling ourselves to spread the buzz about what we do, all the way over in the Magic City of Miami… *grabs sunglasses, throws Will Smith on old-school stereo, gets ready to work on tan*However, we weren’t just there to hit the beach and down bottles of rosé (sadly). Buzz&Go was one of just eight start-ups invited to join the FRINGE area at LE Miami, the world’s only travel trade event dedicated to bringing together the most creative and rebellious travel brands, buyers and media.Buzz&Go-buzzes-in-MiamiAs rebels and disruptors ourselves, we were more than happy to be included in the first ever FRINGE, described by LE as their “handpicked edit of new innovations that could add value to your business”. Buzz&Go were one of only two FRINGE exhibitors repping Europe, so it was an amazing opportunity to get our concept in front of the international mix of travel influencers attending. And as you might notice from our snaps, LE isn’t exactly your standard trade event: there’s a show floor that looked more like a dance floor, blow-out parties most nights and an especially “gorgeous” (their words!) crowd of creative travel experts – the perfect fit for our platform, which aims to connect creative class influencers such as bloggers, journalists and Instagrammers with the hottest travel brands.Buzz&Go’s CEO & Founder Sebastien Félix was on hand in our corner of the show floor to talk about how social influence is the new travel currency, including a five-minute pitch to interested attendees during a networking break and screening the video we created with Adele Gutman, VP of the Library Hotel Collection NYC, in which she talks about how Buzz&Go has made their business buzz – for example, how their web traffic has increased by 20% since September 2015 thanks to our network of influencers. If you weren’t one of the lucky few who made it to Miami: firstly, we feel for you (they really do know how to have a good time over there); and secondly, here are the key points of Sebastien’s quickfire pitch…1. CUT TO THE CORE. No need to waste precious time sorting through direct requests from influencers to find the best fit for your brand – we’ve already curated the most relevant content creators out there.2. MAP IT OUT. Follow up on all content published by seeing who is where and when on our simple dashboard.3. SEE IT WORKING. Get totally transparent access to measure the performance of your campaigns, with 24/7 reporting available. To quote Sebastien, “LE Miami is a prestigious event where we are really proud to have been elected. It is a good sign for the industry that is recognizing more and more the power of influencer marketing”. Since starting last September, Buzz&Go already counts 300 hotels in over 28 countries and more than 4000 vetted influencers as part of our community – thanks to a little Miami magic, who knows where we’ll be this time next year…Interested?
